About the event
CRAVEN ARMS MEN'S CHORUS will next perform at St Laurence’s Church, Church Stretton, on Saturday 21st November in an Autumn Concert, once again raising money for charity. This time the charity of choice is the Alzheimer's Society.
The concert will include the choir’s latest music, including the racing-along spiritual, Joshua Fit de battle ob Jerico; the moving unaccompanied folk song, Lowlands Away; the ever popular You Raise Me Up, made famous by Josh Groban; and the beautiful Some Enchanted Evening from South Pacific by Rodgers & Hammerstein. There will also be old favourites such as When the Saints Go Marching In, With A Voice of Singing and Hand Me Down My Silver Trumpet. To complete the evening, some of our talented members will perform solo and duet items that we very much look forward to.
